Components Engineer II - Turbomachinery

You will participate in the Design and Engineering of Turbomachinery Packages made up of Piping Modules, Process Coolers, Valves, Instrumentation, Structural Frames, Seal Gas systems and Lube Oil systems You will specify the Sizing, Design, and Applicable International Code of Pressure vessels that include Process coolers, Oil Coolers, Filter Housings, Lube Oil Tanks, and Process piping In this role, you will learn to perform Base Frame and Pipe Support Finite Element Analysis, Flexibility studies of Supplied Piping, and Anchor Bolt Sizing You will plan the wiring of Vibration, Speed, Pressure, Flow, and Temperature instruments supplied with Turbomachinery designs You also will support the Package check-out, both in person and virtually with third party vendors, Travel up to 25% is required Further, you will support procurement activities of Turbomachinery Packages by producing requests for quotations, purchase specifications, bid evaluations, and purchase requisitions
