Distribution Superintendent

You will oversee regional distribution operations to ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time overseeing regional distribution operations In this role you will manage a fleet of eight tractors and sixteen trailers, optimizing utilization to meet delivery schedules and reduce operational costs managing fleet utilization You shall lead and develop a team of ten drivers and two mechanics, fostering a high performance culture centered on safety and service excellence leading drivers and mechanics Additionally uphold strict adherence to transportation regulations and company policies related to safety and environmental standards ensuring regulatory compliance Furthermore monitor and coordinate five thousand four hundred twenty deliveries and over five hundred nineteen thousand miles driven annually to maintain efficiency and reliability monitoring delivery performance You are expected to develop and execute strategies for operational improvements including route optimization and process enhancements driving operational improvements Lastly collaborate cross functionally with other departments to align distribution efforts with business objectives and customer needs while coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime collaborating across departments
