Turbomachinery Manufacturing Engineer

You will provide engineering support for assembly of centrifugal compressors, turbines, and related rotating equipment Develop and maintain assembly procedures, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot mechanical and instrumentation issues Additionally you will support installation and alignment of bearings, seals, rotors, shafts, couplings, and instrumentation systems Ensure adherence to engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications Plan, execute, and support performance and mechanical testing of turbomachinery Identify opportunities to improve assembly processes, tooling, and testing methods Provide application support on aftermarket sales Lastly you will work closely with manufacturing technicians, design engineers, quality teams, and field service personnel (up to 25% travel is required)
