Industrial Process Engineer

Responsibilities : Collect and analyze production data to monitor the performance of metallurgical processes. Identify deviations from recovery targets and propose improvements Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical issues related to mineral processing, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations Contribute to the implementation of technical solutions to improve recovery rates of precious and base metals by adjusting processing parameters to the characteristics of the ore Participate in the implementation and monitoring of innovation projects aimed at improving process efficiency and reducing production costs Conduct research and analysis on new technologies and practices in the mining sector, and propose ideas for continuous improvement Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in mineral processing by following established guidelines and procedures Required Skills : Mastery of industrial processes Proficiency in performance management tools Development and revision of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P IDs) Sizing of processing equipment (crushers, ball mills, pumps, agitators, tanks...) and piping Conducting equipment simulations Hydraulic system calculations Development of process descriptions and control philosophies Process and Opex estimation Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities Teamwork, Team and Interface Management Analytical and synthetic thinking Results-oriented and continuous improvement mindset Adaptability and ability to grasp new environments
