Job Description: Assistant Manager – Finance

Position: Assistant Manager – Finance
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and statutory requirements

  • Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI compliances and timely filings

  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders

  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and project-wise cost control

  • Assist in MIS reporting and management dashboards

  • Support internal controls, audits, and process improvements

  • Maintain proper documentation and financial records

Qualifications

  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance & accounts

  • Experience in consulting / infrastructure / EPC / project-based organizations preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliances

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally) and MS Excel

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
