SAP Development Lead Public Sector (m/f/d)

As SAP Development Lead Public Sector (m/f/d), you will take on a key role in shaping the digital future of our public sector clients. This senior-level position focuses on technical leadership and architectural excellence within the SAP landscape. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of innovative SAP solutions, particularly in the areas of SAP S/4HANA development and SAP Public Sector Management (PSM), leveraging modern technologies such as SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). Your expertise in ABAP OO development, combined with knowledge of the SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) and a strong understanding of agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and DevOps concepts, will be essential in technically guiding development teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. You will drive the architecture of SAP solutions, actively contribute to project management activities, and maintain effective stakeholder management to align the technical vision with business requirements.

We are looking for an experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of digitalization trends and a passion for modern software development, cloud solutions, and web technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, and Node.js), who can enrich our projects with technical leadership and an innovative mindset.

In addition to a completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, you bring at least 7 years of experience as an SAP consultant and/or SAP developer, as well as at least 5 years of experience within industry environments (particularly public sector, defense, healthcare, or manufacturing SMEs) in the German-speaking DACH market.
