The Role
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, technically curious Product Documentation Specialist to own and manage our Technical Product Specifications (TPS) and customer-facing product documentation.
This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Customer Applications, and Document Control and is critical to ensuring our product definition is accurate, traceable, and aligned to customer requirements.
You will not just “edit documents”, you will own the integrity of product data across the lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
Product Documentation Ownership
- Own the TPS (Technical Product Specification) from creation through revision and release
- Ensure documentation is accurate, current, and aligned to engineering and customer requirements
- Maintain version control, redlines, and revision history
Engineering Interface
- Partner directly with engineers to gather, validate, and clarify technical specifications
- Translate engineering inputs into structured, customer-facing documentation
- Proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, or missing data
Process & Data Integrity
- Maintain traceability between product requirements, design outputs, and documentation
- Support change control processes to ensure only approved updates are released
- Improve templates, workflows, and documentation standards for efficiency and quality
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Route documents through review and approval workflows
- Coordinate across Applications, Engineering, and Program teams
- Ensure manufacturing and customers receive the correct, approved documentation
Build & Delivery Support
- Verify documentation completeness for build readiness
- Maintain as-built records and final documentation packages
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 2–5 years experience in:
- Technical documentation, OR
- Engineering support, OR
- Product data / configuration management
- Strong ability to understand and work with technical concepts (hardware/software systems)
- Experience with structured documents, templates, or controlled documentation environments
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working directly with engineers and asking questions
Preferred
- Experience in:
- Semiconductor, industrial equipment, or manufacturing environments
- Document control, PLM, or configuration management systems
- Familiarity with:
- Version control / revision tracking
- Engineering drawings, BOMs, or system-level documentation
