Job Description

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in molding technologies are a plus. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in mold processing, preferably in the plastics or automotive industry. Proficiency in injection molding machines, hot runner systems, and auxiliary equipment. Strong understanding of mold flow analysis and simulation software (e.g., Moldflow, CAD tools). Expertise in various materials (e.g., thermoplastics, thermosets) and their processing characteristics. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. Proficiency in English is mandatory for effective communication in a global environment. Additional languages are a plus. Responsibilities Process Optimization: Develop and refine molding processes to improve product quality and cycle times Mold Design Development: Collaborate with tooling engineers to ensure molds are designed for manufacturability and durability. Evaluate new mold designs and provide recommendations for improvements. Troubleshooting Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve issues related to molding defects, tooling, or machine performance. Quality Assurance: Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions. Training Mentorship : Train operators and technicians on best practices in molding processes. New Product Introduction (NPI): Support the development and testing of new molds and materials. Documentation Compliance: Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
