Job Description

What will you do?

 

  • Ensure the efficient execution of all front office operations (check‑in, check‑out, reservations, room assignments).
  • Provide guest assistance and personalised support, including VIP Guests.
  • Handle complaints and support the management of overbooking situations.
  • Promote the loyalty programme, upselling and cross‑selling initiatives.
  • Support staff scheduling, task allocation and daily team supervision.
  • Conduct briefings when necessary and guarantee consistent handovers between shifts.
  • Participate in the onboarding, training and follow‑up of new employees and interns.
  • Ensure compliance with work instructions and internal standards.
  • Support the control of billing, consumption and exemptions.
  • Monitor the application of hygiene, quality, environmental and safety standards.
  • Report anomalies and ensure communication with maintenance through the internal system.
  • Ensure effective communication with all hotel departments.
  • Inform relevant departments about special needs, events and VIP arrivals.
  • Follow up on guest requests until resolution.
  • Strong customer orientation and excellence in service delivery.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate teams.
  • Effective communication, empathy and conflict‑management skills.
  • Organisation, proactivity and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with PMS and operational hotel tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
  • Acts as Front Office Manager replacement during absences, ensuring operational continuity and service quality.
