Job Description
As the Office Specialist for Surplus Property, you will: Process surplus property intake and documents. Research specifications and value of property to be sold/auctioned. Assign sale prices to property. Create and maintain files and records. Answer telephone and assist callers. Process daily incoming and outgoing mail. Order office supplies. Take photos of items to be auctioned. Post and monitor online auctions. Assist the public and others with information on merchandise. Prepare final sale of items. Retrieve sale items to be purchased or photographed. Inspect and inventory passenger vehicles and heavy equipment outside prior to auction listing. Wash vehicles, charge batteries, and remove snow from vehicles as needed. Minor vehicle maintenance Position involves working indoors and outdoors throughout the year.
