Job Overview
Under broad guidance, performs data analytics activities related to complex business problems and issues to provide insight to decision makers. May provide analytic support for internal project teams and for external client consulting or services engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Collect, clean, validate, and transform data to ensure accuracy and reliability
Map and standardize data into structured schemas, aligning key data elements
Develop datasets and reports using internal tools and data platforms
Perform data validation, audits, and quality checks
Support reporting needs by creating specifications based on business requirements
Interpret results and provide recommendations to support decision-making
Document data processes, transformation logic, and methodologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data-related challenges
Lead and coordinate data deliverables while guiding junior team members
Ensure adherence to data governance, compliance, and organizational policies
Support ongoing improvements in data processes and analytics practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
4+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role
Strong proficiency in SQL and database querying
Experience with data transformation, validation, and reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and reporting techniques
Solid understanding of data structures, logic, and statistical analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Good communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage tasks and deliver within timelines
