Job Description

  • Availability & flexibility to work 3+ shifts per week on a rotating roster. Shift times range between 5am - midnight/2am, including weekdays, evenings, weekends & public holidays. Tues - Thur availability is desirable

  • Previous food & beverage experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort or similar customer service environment

  • RSA Certificate, essential

  • Table service - order taking, waitering skills in a la carte, alternate drop, set menu, buffet etc
  • Barista - coffee making skills & experience

  • Bar - beverage knowledge & experience pouring wine, beer & mixing drinks

  • Ability to carry 3 plates and a tray of drinks for table service
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with guests well and to clearly explain food & beverage menus
  • POS experience

  • Work well in a team environment & can follow direction

  • Passion for the hospitality industry & a desire to deliver 5 star customer service

  • Excellent personal presentation
