Warehouse Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficiency, accuracy, safety, and teamwork across warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory, receiving, and shipping
Oversee and manage the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) shipping team, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment
Analyze and optimize shipping workflows to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and increase throughput
Supervise kitting operations, including scheduling, staffing, and quality control
Track and report on kitting performance metrics, including output, labor efficiency, and cost per kit
Plan and manage kitting work orders and schedules to ensure alignment with customer demand, on-time fulfillment, and operational efficiency
Identify opportunities for process improvements to reduce costs and enhance productivity across shipping and kitting functions
Ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
Implement and maintain safety standards and operational procedures
Manage pick/pack and finished goods shipments
Collaborate with Supply Chain, suppliers, and carriers
Support inventory management across multiple warehouses, ensuring optimal stock levels, accuracy, and alignment with demand
Support continuous improvement, training, and team performance
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Interview prospective employees and choose the best applicant based on skills, knowledge, and abilities required for the job
Direct assigned tasks and provides assistance as needed
Partner with HR to execute disciplinary action as needed
Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, mentoring and maintaining strong employee relationships.
Manage work schedules
Approve PTO requests and timesheets
Qualifications:
Previous management experience (required)
Proven warehouse leadership experience
Experience with small parcel and LTL shipments
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with warehouse systems (SAP preferred)
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
High School and/or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred)
Schedule:
Full-time, approximately 40 hours/week (additional hours as needed)
