Work Preparation & Planning Manager (Tender & Execution)

Lead the development of tender and execution programmes for building construction projects across multiple bids and live projects Establish and maintain project planning frameworks, including WBS structures, sequencing strategies, and programme methodologies Oversee preparation of baseline schedules, ensuring alignment with project scope, construction methodology, and resource strategy Manage the transition from tender planning to execution planning, ensuring continuity, accuracy, and constructability Review and validate construction methodologies, temporary works strategies, and phasing plans during pre-construction Develop and monitor resource-loaded programmes, including manpower histograms, cash flow projections, and S-curves Provide oversight on programme updates, progress tracking, and reporting across active projects Analyse programme risks, identify critical path constraints, and implement mitigation and recovery strategies Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure programme alignment with actual site execution Support commercial and tender teams with time-related inputs, including programme narratives and sequencing strategies Standardise planning practices, including coding structures, naming conventions, and reporting formats Provide guidance and oversight to planning engineers across projects, ensuring consistency and quality of outputs Act as a central point of control for planning, scheduling, and programme governance across the organisation
