Assistant Teacher � Infants & Toddlers
Location: Nicollet Public Schools - NECC, Nicollet, MN
Schedule: Full-time | Monday�Friday | Hours between 7:00 AM�5:30 PM, 35-40 hours per week
Pay: $15.00�$20.00 per hour, will pay for experience in a licensed daycare setting.
About the Role:
NECC is seeking a warm, dependable Assistant Teacher to support our Infant and Toddler classrooms. This position focuses on providing nurturing care, following daily routines, and creating a safe, loving environment for young children.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily routines and classroom activities
- Provide hands-on care including diapering, feeding, and comforting
- Maintain consistent nap, meal, and play schedules
- Keep the classroom clean, safe, and organized
- Use gentle, positive guidance with children
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements
Requirements:
- Must meet MN DHS Rule 3 qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred: Experience working with infants or toddlers Caring, patient, and reliable
