Walk On Band and Fine Arts Coach
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support students during band and fine arts activities, including before, during, and after rehearsals or performances
Assist with student check in, attendance, and dismissal procedures
Support setup, breakdown, and basic organization of instruments, equipment, costumes, and materials
Monitor student behavior and enforce school and district expectations
Communicate clearly with students, staff, and parents as needed
Assist directors or instructors with non instructional tasks to help programs run smoothly
Help ensure student safety during indoor and outdoor activities, including walking routes and transitions
Report concerns, incidents, or injuries promptly to appropriate staff
Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Experience working with students in a school or youth setting preferred
Interest in music, band, or fine arts is helpful
Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with staff
Strong communication skills
Ability to maintain a positive and respectful approach with students
Dependable and punctual
