Special Education Teacher, Grades 9-12 Intensive Needs, Extended School Year

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Milford School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the Extended School Year (ESY) Services. The Special Teacher prepares lesson plans, delivers specially designed instruction to meet the goals and objectives defined in Individual Education Program and coordinate related services as related to the ESY goals and objectives. Special Education teachers will implement instructional strategies that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. 

This position works with our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities population for ESY services.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
Certified or certifiable by the New Hampshire Department of Education in General Special Education (1900) or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (1833)
 

SCHEDULE:
July 6, 2026 - August 6, 2026.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

Up to 15 hours per week.

RATE:
$40.00 per hour
 
FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
