Job Description
Special Education Teacher:
Middle School Inclusion Support Program
Teach and case manage a small classroom of students requiring direct, appropriate individualized and small group instruction, based on IEP goals and objectives, within a highly supported setting.
There is a strong focus on self-management skill development to prepare students for academic success.
Experience working with students with special education needs is a must for this position.
A strong background in design and implementation of middle school curriculum for students with learning differences, as well as experience with organizational skill development is essential to this position.
Qualifications Profile
- MA State Certification
- Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
- Masters Degree preferred.
Experience
- Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level or discipline preferred.
- Grade 6-8 Pull-Out/Inclusion Special Education Teacher.
Salary is in accordance with the Medford Teachers Association Contract:
