POSITION: Food Services Lead
DESCRIPTION: Hinckley-Big Rock School District is seeking an authentic, enthusiastic, reflective, student-centered professional to lead our food services program. The Food Service Lead provides district-level oversight, coordination, and compliance monitoring for the District's participation in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and related child nutrition programs.
This position ensures all federal, state, and local nutritional standards are met while supporting daily kitchen operations, supervising staff, and maintaining required compliance documentation. The Food Service Lead works directly with the Superintendent and collaborates with building administrators and the business office to maintain a compliant, efficient, and student-centered food service program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or certification in nutrition, food service management, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in school food service or institutional food service preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE: 176 student attendance days plus 10 summer days; 5.5 hours/day, anticipated 9:00 am -2:30 pm
ANTICIPATED SALARY & BENEFITS: $32,000, paid sick and personal leave
