Join Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) as Technical Sales & Business Development Manager, Tank & Hold Cleaning

Location: Glasgow, London, Rotterdam, Hamburg | Type: Full-time, Hybrid

We are looking for a commercially driven Technical Sales & Business Development Manager to grow and develop our Tank & Hold Cleaning solutions globally.

In this role, you will drive profitable growth across existing customers while actively developing new business. You will combine strong technical knowledge with a consultative sales approach to help customers maximize value and close high-quality opportunities.

What you will be doing:

  • Drive profitable sales growth across existing accounts and new customers

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from opportunity identification to deal closure

  • Prioritize target customers and execute focused sales activities

  • Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers to support joint sales plans

  • Identify and follow up on Newbuilding and Dry Dock opportunities

  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships through regular customer engagement

  • Act as the technical expert for Tank & Hold Cleaning solutions within the sales organization

  • Ensure accurate CRM reporting and compliance with WSS sales governance

What you bring:

  • International experience in technical or solution-based sales

  • Maritime background (sailing or marine engineering experience preferred)

  • Proven track record of achieving sales results and closing deals

  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills

  • Confident user of CRM systems and MS Office tools

  • Excellent communication skills and fluent English
