  • Support preparation, execution and follow-up of vetting inspections (including SIRE 2.0, RightShip and customer audits).

  • Assist vessels and shore teams during PSC, Flag State, Class and Port Authority inspections.

  • Coordinate, participate in and follow up on internal and external audits and client inspections.

  • Identify, assess and monitor operational risks within the Gas & Bulk segment.

  • Ensure preventive and corrective risk mitigation measures are implemented and verified.

  • Participate in emergency preparedness duties, drills and training activities.

  • Support quality management processes and office audits as required.

What we are looking for:

  • Technical or maritime education, preferably with seagoing experience as a senior officer on gas or bulk vessels.

  • Solid knowledge of IMO, Flag, Class, ISM/ISPS, MARPOL, SIRE 2.0, RightShip and relevant industry standards.

  • Experience from HSEQ, vetting or compliance roles is an advantage.

  • Formal training or certification in internal auditing (ISM/ISO) is an advantage.

  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

  • Strong IT skills and ability to prepare high-quality formal documentation.

  • Experience with digital HSEQ systems (e.g. DocMap or similar platforms) is an advantage.

  • Valid permission to live and work in Norway.

Personal Competencies

  • Proactive, analytical and structured with strong attention to detail.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Confident working under pressure and in operational situations.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multicultural teams, both ashore and at sea.

  • Solution-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

  • Willingness to travel internationally to vessels as required, including occasional short-notice trips.
