Pay

HK$67,919 - HK$140,903 (HMPS point 2 to 19) per month including Monthly Allowance

An additional monthly Management Responsibility Allowance of HK$2,500.

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Responsible for the overall management of the Pharmacy Department.

2.

Plan the strategic direction for the Department and formulate action plans.

3.

Monitor and provide expenditure analysis on the consumption trend of pharmaceuticals and recommend alternative treatment protocols to all clinical departments to ensure cost-effective use of resources.

4.

Serve as member of various professional hospital committees such as Drugs and Therapeutics Committee, etc.

5.

Supervise, motivate and train pharmaceutical staff so as to provide service of the highest-possible professional standard and ensure continuous improvement of quality.

6.

Collaborate with HA Head Office and other departments / clinical units / professional personnel to accomplish local and corporate goals.

Entry Requirements

1.

A registered pharmacist with a valid practising certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong.

2.

# 2 years’ post-registration experience as a hospital pharmacist.

3.

Management experience in pharmacy service.

4.

With relevant training in management.

5.

Fluent written and spoken Chinese and English.

Experience acquired as a pharmacists after registration with overseas registration authorities but prior to registration with the Hong Kong Pharmacy and Poisons Board can be accepted as post-registration experience.)
