This permanent role, offers a flexible hybrid work model and open for applications in Naarm (Sydney).

What You'll Do 

  • Drive deep commercial and costtoserve insights across the full T&O cost base, including total cost of ownership (TCO) across applications, platforms and services.

  • Build and run advanced financial models to support scenario analysis, business cases, investment decisions and cost optimisation opportunities. 

  • Assist in T&O cost allocation, budgeting, forecasting and investment analysis, ensuring transparency, accuracy and alignment to strategic priorities. 

  • Shape and deliver strategic commercial initiatives and Future Fit project work, partnering closely with Finance, Technology and Operations stakeholders. 

  • Produce executiveready insights and analysis that enable the T&O Leadership Team to make wellinformed decisions, leveraging an enterprisewide understanding of value and cost drivers 

  • Own, enhance and expand the Commercial Office’s key reporting tools and assets, Tableau dashboards, Apptio insights, financial models and decisioning frameworks. 

  • Continuously improve commercial processes, data flows and systems, identifying opportunities to streamline, automate and uplift commercial intelligence for T&O. 

  • Cost drivers Analysis across T&O total cost base, including TCO (total cost iof ownership) across applications.

  • T&O cost allocation, budgets and investment opportunities

  • Project work / Future Fit 

  • Analysis and strategic insights to inform TOLT decision making, taking a total T&O approach in to consideration 

  • Own and develop commercial tools such as tableau and month end reporting (Excel / Tableau) 

  • Proactively look for ways to improve current processes and systems.

  • Various advanced financial modelling and analysis

  • Build and develop tableau dashboards 
     

 

What You'll Bring 

  • Qualifications preferred but not essential - CA/CPA

  • Ideally a consulting background 

  • Degree in a Business related discipline or an MBA 

  • 8+ years experience in a commercial or financial analyst role 

  • Consulting toolkit – problem solving, strategic thinking, influence, communication and presentation / storytelling

  • Apptio experience- desirable 

  • Project management & change management 

  • External environment awareness 

  • Strong technical skills 

  • Modelling skills (advanced excel and power query) 

  • System implementation experience 

  • Proactive 

  • Leadership skills
