Claims Management Officer (RACQ Insurance)

We’re looking for Motor Claims Consultants to join our RACQ Insurance team. You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end lodgement and claims management of motor claims, ensuring each case is managed efficiently, accurately, and with empathy.
Your journey with RACQ Insurance begins on Monday 15th June, with a minimum of a five-week and up to a ten-week, office-based training program from our Eight Mile Plains office. This permanent full-time role based in Meanjin (Brisbane – Eight Mile Plains) requires availability Monday to Friday (8.30am–5.00pm) during training. Once training is complete, working hours will extend to a rotating roster between 7.00am–7.15pm Monday to Friday, and 8.30am–5.00pm on weekends and public holidays.
We’re also looking for people who are interested in permanent weekend work on a full-time roster, such as Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.
On successful completion of training and once deemed competent in the role, you will be able to utilise hybrid work arrangements subject to business needs. Please note, you will be required to provide your own work from set up (monitor, keyboard, mouse etc..)
What You'll Do
• Handle claims across various complexity levels. From new lodgements to low-touch and moderately complex claims, based on business needs and capability
• Deliver proactive, professional customer service, keeping members informed and supported throughout the process
• Review and interpret detailed information, including reports, to make sound decisions on claims within policy guidelines
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure a seamless claims experience
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance member outcomes
