Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health, Counselling, Social Work, Health, or a related discipline
Completion of at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or an equivalent form of reflective practice
Mental Health First Aid certification (or equivalent)
Demonstrated history of, and ongoing commitment to, personal formation, reflection, and professional development/training
Proven experience in providing pastoral care across a variety of settings
Current C Class Driver’s Licence (or global equivalent)
Current Working with Children Check (or global equivalent)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage compassionately with people from diverse backgrounds
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high level of initiative, as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical practice
Sound computer literacy, including the ability to use digital systems for communication, record-keeping, and reporting
Ability to manage competing priorities, respond to urgent situations, and maintain resilience in a dynamic environment
