Job Description
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health, Counselling, Social Work, Health, or a related discipline
- Completion of at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or an equivalent form of reflective practice
- Mental Health First Aid certification (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated history of, and ongoing commitment to, personal formation, reflection, and professional development/training
- Proven experience in providing pastoral care across a variety of settings
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence (or global equivalent)
- Current Working with Children Check (or global equivalent)
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage compassionately with people from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high level of initiative, as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and ethical practice
- Sound computer literacy, including the ability to use digital systems for communication, record-keeping, and reporting
- Ability to manage competing priorities, respond to urgent situations, and maintain resilience in a dynamic environment
