Job Summary**

The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited is responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within an assigned geographical territory. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, promoting pharmaceutical products, and ensuring effective distribution and availability.

Job Responsibilities**

* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned product portfolio within the designated territory.
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize product reach and market penetration.
* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers including doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and healthcare professionals.
* Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities to promote products, provide product information, and address customer queries.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and provide feedback to management.
* Ensure timely collection of payments and management of outstanding dues from customers.
* Organize and participate in medical camps, product presentations, and other promotional activities.
* Prepare and submit regular sales reports, activity plans, and expense statements accurately and on time.
* Collaborate with marketing and medical teams to effectively implement promotional campaigns.
* Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in a similar role.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and healthcare industry.
* Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
* Proficiency in English; knowledge of the local language is highly desirable.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
* Computer proficiency (MS Office Suite).
