Job Summary**

The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited is responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within an assigned geographical area by effectively promoting and selling the company's pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and institutions.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for pharmaceutical products within the designated territory.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital administrators, to drive product adoption and loyalty.
* Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities, clinics, and pharmacies to present product information, address inquiries, and provide solutions.
* Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned area.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
* Prepare and submit timely sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports.
* Organize and participate in medical camps, CMEs (Continuing Medical Education), and other promotional events.
* Ensure adherence to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
* Manage product inventory and ensure timely delivery to customers.
* Provide excellent customer service and resolve any product-related issues or complaints.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in the assigned territory.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and product knowledge.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in English and the local language.
* Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
* Computer proficiency, including MS Office suite.
