Job Description

• Conduct modal, random vibration, and response spectrum analyses to evaluate system durability and performance towards compliance. 
• Perform nonlinear structural analyses, including contact, large deformation, and material nonlinearities.
• Carry out impact and transient dynamic simulations for structural integrity and safety evaluation.
• Perform FRF/VTF to identify and quantify vibration transmission paths. Isolator evaluation will be critical to most battery packs.
• Conduct CHT simulations to evaluate thermal performance and cooling effectiveness.
• Analyze flow distribution and airflow performance within battery packs using Ansys fluent.
• Develop 1D system-level models to support performance prediction and system behavior analysis.
• Build, validate, and refine simulation models using test data and engineering judgment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to translate real-world operating conditions into simulation environments.
• Interpret simulation results and provide design recommendations to improve performance, durability, and reliability.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for field or test issues using simulation methods.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to engineering teams.
