UCFM Bookstore Assistant Manager
This position is responsible for assisting in the planning and managing of all day-to-day operations of the campus bookstore and organized events: purchase, stock, and sell merchandise. Assist in supervising staff and providing customer service to customers, members, and event guests.

Anticipated Time Commitments
Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 3-4 hours a week
Participating in meetings/training: as requested
Responsibilities/Duties:
Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, assisting customers with store inquiries, answering phone and/or directing callers.
Complete store transactions using the POS (Square) system. Use safe money handling procedures and secure transaction practices.
Assist with training new team members.
Ensure the bookstore is fully stocked. Shelve, arrange, clean, and organize product or space within the store to maintain an appealing sales floor.
Assist in planning and organizing events for/through the bookstore. This could include setting up tables and completing sales at planned events for other UCFM organizations/ministries.
