UCFM Greeter
The greeter is responsible for ensuring that every person entering the church as a guest or visitor is greeted and offered assistance as appropriate thereby feeling important and welcome.

Anticipated Time Commitments
1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: at least one hour a month—more during special events
2. Participating in meetings/training: at least one hour a month
Responsibilities/Duties
1. Greet members and guests as they enter or exit the building.
2. Greet visitors at the welcome center and provide information as needed or requested.
3. Direct visitors to classes, nursery, sanctuary, restrooms, etc.
4. Introduce visitors to church staff, teachers and members of similar age when possible.
5. Open doors for/assist the elderly or disabled.
6. Arrive at Church 30 minutes prior to service starting.
7. Return to doors at end of service to assist with benediction traffic and express thanks for attendance.
8. Sale “Word for you Today” devotionals when requested
9. Dress appropriate at all services. (See dress guidelines for all staff)
