The training specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for church staff, volunteers, and congregation members to enhance their skills and knowledge in various areas of ministry.

Anticipated Time Commitments:
1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 2-4 hours a week;
2. Participating in meetings/training: as requested
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Develop and update training manuals, online resources, and other educational materials to support various ministry needs.
- Lead and facilitate training sessions, ensuring content is engaging, relevant, and accessible to all participants.
- Work with church leadership to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them effectively.
- Train and support volunteers in their roles, providing ongoing education and resources to enhance their contributions to church ministries in conjunction with the ministry directors.
- Track and assess the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed to ensure they meet the church’s goals and objectives.
- Work closely with church leadership to align training initiatives with the overall mission and vision of the church.
- Collaborate with Discipleship and Marketing when needed to ensure formatting and structure are on brand with the ministry.
- Keep detailed records of training activities, participant progress, and feedback to improve future training efforts.
