The couples’ events coordinator is responsible for or the overall coordination and development of the ministry’s activities, events, and ministry meetings.

Anticipated Time Commitments:
1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 2-4 hours a month
2. Participating in meetings/training: as requested
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Brainstorm, plan, and execute events tailored to the needs and interests of couples in the ministry. This includes workshops, retreats, seminars, social gatherings, and other special events.
- Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection and booking, transportation arrangements, catering, audiovisual equipment, and other necessary resources, ensuring all required church forms are completed prior to each event.
- Identify and coordinate with speakers, facilitators, and workshop leaders for events. This could include negotiating contracts (with Director approval), confirming availability, and coordinating presentation materials.
- Collaborate with the content creator and marketing team to promote events through various channels, including social media, email newsletters, and church announcements. Ensuring clear and consistent communication with attendees regarding event details, schedules, and any necessary preparations.
- Oversee event setup, registration, and on-site coordination to ensure that events run smoothly and according to plan. Address any issues or concerns that may arise during events and provide as needed.
- Gather feedback from participants following events to evaluate their success and identify areas for improvement.
