Ablaze Class Teacher is responsible for helping students attain spiritual development through the appropriate use of UCFM resources and approved curriculum.

Anticipated Time Commitments:
1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 8 hours a week
2. Participating in meetings/training: As scheduled
Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Arrive at your scheduled time ready to serve with homework facilitation.
2. Be prepared with lesson, resources, supplies and materials.
3. Be motivated and creative with a gift of Teaching,
4. Prepare and/or create a teach modules on your plans for facilitating the assigned curriculum.
5. Develop educational, engaging, and empowering activities that complement the curriculum or lesson.
6. Be on-time and prepared and ready to receive your youth on your scheduled/assigned day to teach
7. Attend Group Meetings, Conference Calls, etc. as it relates to your specific Team, to ensure proper communication.
8. Attend the Ablaze monthly meetings
9. Respond to classroom issues and offer guidance
10. Ensure that your assigned classroom is clean and presentable
11. Assist the youth with assignments and activities
12. Record Attendance
13. Exhibits excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; self-motivator.
14. Must be able to exercise good judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality of records and information.
15. Must be collaborative and an effective team member and team builder.
16. Have open availability to serve “one week” out of the month – including 8am and 11am on Sundays and the upcoming Wednesday.
17. Inform their Class Coordinator when they are scheduled out or if an emergency arises and they cannot be in attendance.
18. Attend all staff meetings and scheduled youth events unless advanced notice has been given.
19. Maintain communication with the Youth Ministry via text, email, GroupMe, etc.
