Job Description
The Power 4 Living Sunday School Table Captain/Co-Captain is responsible for leading the weekly table discussions. Through the study of these lessons the Table Captain, Co-Captain and participants are encouraged to attain a personal knowledge of the Trinity, develop a vibrant Christian life, and understand God’s Word. The captains also help fulfill the Power 4 Living mission in discipling adults to know and understand the will of God, through the study of the word of God, and to do the good works of faith for God, as they become Global Christians.

Anticipated Time Commitments:
1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: three hours a week
2. Participating in meetings/training: one hour a month
- Meet for evaluation and growth report: Once a year
- Notify the Superintendent (s), Administrative Assistant, and your co-captain of your absence or tardiness in advance when possible.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Attend Church services regularly and the P4L (Sunday School) weekly and Monthly Staff Meetings Arrive in the United Center @ 9:25 each Sunday morning for prayer and staff meeting with the superintendent(s).
- Have studied and be prepared to lead the table discussion.
- Assist with setting up Power4 Living adult class tables and tools, when needed.
- Encourage participants to register for P4L electronically and purchase a book at the beginning of each quarter.
- Ensure the offering sheet is completed in a timely manner. Verify offering amount is accurate. Have the offering envelope ready for 10:15.
- Assist with closing out P4L Sunday school by returning all folders, table numbers and other class tools to proper place in the file cabinet.
- Encourage table attendees to participate in quarterly surveys when applicable.
- Know where to find the tools needed (offering envelopes, offering sheets) and where to direct a new member to purchase a book.
- Perform other P4L Sunday school duties and responsibilities as assigned by Superintendent or Administrative Assistant.
