Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Large & Small Animal Department
Quakertown Veterinary Clinic (QVC) is seeking professional and compassionate Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) to join our veterinary reception team in both our Large Animal and Small Animal departments.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have strong communication skills, and are committed to providing excellent customer service to clients and patients.
QVC is a 24/7 veterinary hospital focused on providing high-quality patient care and client service.
Department Schedules
Large Animal Reception
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Small Animal Reception
- Hours: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Weekend rotations, select holidays, and occasional on-call shifts may be required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and timely manner
- Greet clients and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule appointments and update patient/client records
- Respond to client questions and provide general information
- Process invoices and payments
- Monitor patient flow and communicate with hospital staff as needed
- Perform clerical duties including filing, email communication, and record maintenance
- Assist with over-the-counter sales of diets and retail items
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, receptionist, or administrative experience required
- Veterinary or medical office experience preferred, but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment
- Professional demeanor and dependable attendance
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients
Physical Requirements
This position requires sitting, standing, walking, speaking, hearing, and the ability to use computers and phones for extended periods of time.
