Degreasing Technician (First Shift)

A Degreasing Technician removes heavy grease, oil, and grime from industrial machinery, exhaust systems, or manufactured parts using specialized chemical agents, pressure washers, and degreasing equipment. They ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and sanitation standards.

What You will Do:
 

• Degreasing Operations: Power-wash, scrub, and degrease kitchen exhaust systems (hoods, ducts, fans) or industrial equipment.
• Perform degreasing and cleaning operations using approved solvents, detergents, and equipment. 
• Operate overhead cranes and hoist systems to lift, position, and move heavy components safely and accurately.
• Inspect incoming components for cleanliness, damage, and proper identification before processing. 
• Follow all work instructions, process sheets, and quality assurance requirements. 
• Maintain proper documentation of cleaning processes, solution changes, and inspection results. 
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of degreasing tanks, equipment, and work area.
• Report any abnormalities, equipment issues, or quality concerns to supervision immediately. 
• Adhere strictly to safety policies, PPE requirements, and chemical-handling procedures.

What You Will Bring:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift over 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or on rooftops.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with power washers and industrial cleaning chemicals.
• Safety Focus: Knowledge of OSHA regulations, chemical handling, and confined space safety.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned to prevent fire hazards.
• Schedule Flexibility: Often requires working nights or weekends to minimize operational disruption.
   

Pay Range: (18/hr - 20/hr). 

Location: Miami Gardens, FL

Hours: Approx. 5:45am - 2:15pm

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
