Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Planning & Capability Development - The Delivery Leader is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive delivery strategies and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. This involves ensuring delivery plans and capabilities meet customer expectations and market trends.

 

· Revenue Growth & Financials - Partnering with the Sales Leader, this role drives revenue growth by achieving the top position for current customers and identifying new opportunities to expand the business unit. Developing strategies to capitalize on market potential, focusing on financial targets such as Contribution Margins and strengthening overall delivery performance.

 

· Service Delivery Excellence & Operational Optimization - Optimizing end-to-end service delivery; high-quality, efficient, and timely execution across multicultural and multi-geographic teams. Fostering continuous improvement, implementing best practices, automation, and innovation.

 

· Customer Relationship & Value Proposition - With deep domain knowledge, the Delivery Leader builds and nurtures strong customer relationships within the VAU, acting as a trusted advisor to the customer and senior management while addressing unique requirements. The role focuses on developing a compelling value proposition that strengthens customer intimacy and long-term partnership.

 

· Team Leadership & Talent Development - Leading a large delivery function, this role provides guidance, mentorship and strategic direction to the team. This role fosters a collaborative, high-performance culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and professional development.

 

· Cross-Functional Alignment - The Delivery Leader role collaborates with People Functions, PMO, and other functional leaders to secure seamless coordination of delivery activities across geographies.

 

· Performance Monitoring & Data-Driven Decision Making - The Delivery Leader role establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of delivery operations. Regular monitoring, data analysis, and insightful reporting to Vertical Delivery Leader (VDL) and other stakeholders to ensure transparency and strategic decision-making.

Work Experience

· Educational Qualification - Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering.

· Delivery Leadership - Ability to lead large multi-time-zone teams across different countries and manage global/offshore delivery models.

· Collaboration with Sales Leadership - Strong partnership experience with sales and business development teams to identify revenue opportunities, align delivery capabilities and contribute to deal shaping and solutioning. Experience in co-developing account growth strategies and leveraging delivery as a differentiator.

· Strategic Customer Relationships – Demonstrated experience in influencing technical and business decision-makers and established mid-level customer relationships. Experience in leading technical workshops, executive briefings, and customer-focused events.

· Market & Competitive Awareness - Good understanding of adjacent technologies, competitor services, and market trends to drive informed business decisions.

· Building and Scaling High-Performance Delivery Teams - Expertise in recruiting, mentoring, and developing cross-functional, globally distributed teams with deep technical capabilities. Skilled in fostering a culture of continuous learning.
