The main role will be designing, developing and executing automated text scripts using C# selenium .

As a memeber of the team in the healthcare domain ,primary job will be managing the testing activites to perform manual and automation test cases.

• Design and build robust automation frameworks for validating backend services, APIs, and distributed systems, with selective coverage of frontend workflows where needed.
• Develop high-quality automated tests for RESTful APIs, ensuring correctness, reliability, and scalability of backend systems.
• Own and drive test automation strategy for services, focusing on API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Build automation that runs seamlessly in CI/CD pipelines and supports rapid feedback during development and release cycles.
• Work closely with software engineers and architects to understand service design and identify effective testing approaches.
• Validate service contracts, data integrity, and inter-service communication across microservices-based architectures.
• Develop tools and utilities that improve testing efficiency, debugging, and observability.
• Contribute to automation code reviews, ensuring high standards for maintainability, reliability, and performance.
• Analyze failures from automated pipelines, identify root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, execution speed, and reliability while reducing manual testing effort.
• Champion quality engineering practices, including shift-left testing, testability improvements, and quality metrics.

• 4–7 years of experience in software quality engineering, with strong expertise in test automation for backend systems and APIs.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python (JavaScript is a plus) with experience writing maintainable automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs and microservices, including request/response validation, contract testing, and service integration testing.
• Experience building or extending automation frameworks using tools such as REST Assured, Karate, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.
• Solid understanding of backend architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience testing event-driven architectures, messaging systems, or asynchronous workflows (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Experience validating data flows across services, including working with databases, queues, or event-driven systems.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Harness).
• Familiarity with test design patterns, debugging complex failures, and analysing logs/metrics in distributed environments.
• Strong understanding of quality engineering principles, test strategy, and automation best practices.
• Experience with performance testing, contract testing, or service virtualization/mocking is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in agile teams, collaborating closely with developers to improve testability and product quality.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to think like both a developer and a tester.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) and testing services deployed in cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch or scaling automation in large microservice ecosystems.
• Ability to independently drive technical solutions and improve automation strategy.
• Identify gaps in system testability and collaborate with developers to introduce improvements such as better logging, metrics, and test hooks.
• Experience successfully influencing technical direction or decisions among peers.
