Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement and sourcing activities for aerospace materials, components, and equipment
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with aerospace quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements for production schedules
- Analyze supply chain risks, shortages, and logistics disruptions
- Maintain supplier performance metrics including cost, quality, and delivery KPIs
- Support contract negotiations and vendor management activities
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations including AS9100, FAA, ITAR, and export controls
- Collaborate with production planning and engineering teams to resolve material issues
- Prepare reports on supply chain performance, inventory accuracy, and procurement costs
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and optimize operations

Work Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or defense supply chain operations
- Knowledge of aerospace procurement processes and supplier management
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Epicor
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Understanding of aerospace regulatory requirements and documentation standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM
- Experience with government contracts or defense programs
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of international shipping and customs regulations
