Quality Engineer

Education & Experience requirement:

· B.E, B.S. or higher degree

· Min 5 yrs experience in the manufacturing industry (Capital goods, Heavy equipment’s, Automotive, Industrial segment etc.)

· Min 2+ yrs experience in quality assurance function

· ISO 9001:2008, 9001:2015 – Lead auditor certification from accredited agencies, if not Internal auditor certification required

· Should have led internal audits, experience of facilitating/hosting certification audits is added advantage

· Management representative experience with the understanding of TS 16949 is added advantage

· Experience with reviewing internal documentation to ensure compliance to processes and policies

· Experience in preparing materials for management reviews, including meeting minutes and following up on action items to ensure completion

· Experience in authorship for standard operating procedures, work instructions and developing forms and quality templates

· Experience in design history file documentation and design reviews

· Experience in Complaint handling, CAPA, NCRs, Supplier Management (including SCAs), and Quality Metrics

Knowledge & Skills:

· Strong Skill in writing and editing technical/quality documentation

· Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

· Ability to read and understand published regulations

· Ability to work effectively cross-functionally, influencing other key individuals outside of quality function

· Good analytical and interpersonal skills

· Skills in applying statistical methodologies and problem-solving techniques

· Skill in excel for creating charts, data analysis & report generation
