Lecturer I (Fractional)
Department of Social Sciences and Policy Studies
The Department of Social Sciences and Policy Studies seeks applications for the fractional teaching position at the rank of Lecturer I. The appointed candidate is expected to teach finance and investment courses for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; supervise honours projects; conduct experiential learning, including, but not limited to, internships and study tours in the Greater Bay Area; and support programme administrative work. Experience in tertiary teaching is essential.
Applicants should possess a Doctoral Degree in business studies, financial studies or related disciplines, along with a minimum of four years’ relevant post-qualification teaching experience. Evidence of high-quality teaching at the tertiary level is also required. Applicants should preferably possess a relevant professional teaching certificate, e.g. PGDE or a qualification of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognized by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong or another qualification of equivalent. Candidates with postgraduate teaching experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
The expected start date will be in or around August 2026.
