- Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable enterprise data integration and exchange solutions that enable interoperable information sharing across systems and organizations.
- Develop and maintain API-based services, data pipelines, integration frameworks, and interface solutions that support mission and business objectives.
- Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, routing, and orchestration capabilities to ensure reliable, efficient movement of data across enterprise environments.
- Develop enterprise integration patterns, interface specifications, and reusable technical solutions that improve system connectivity, interoperability, and data accessibility.
- Implement authentication, authorization, access controls, and enterprise security best practices to protect data, services, and integration capabilities.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data exchange services through logging, alerting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, cybersecurity personnel, system owners, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, mission-focused integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, interface definitions, implementation guidance, and data products that support enterprise integration, governance, and operational decision-making.
- Support enterprise data standards, governance initiatives, and interoperability strategies that promote trusted, secure, and actionable information sharing.
- Active Secret clearance (or higher) required.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, systems integration, software engineering, enterprise data exchange, or information systems engineering.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting secure, scalable enterprise data integration solutions, including APIs, data pipelines, orchestration, and interoperability across complex environments.
- Experience implementing enterprise security controls, authentication, authorization, identity management, and secure data-sharing practices within modern integration architectures.
- Experience developing integration patterns, interface specifications, technical standards, and monitoring solutions that ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing data exchange.
- Proficiency with three (3) or more of the following: RESTful APIs, Python, Java, SQL, Spark, Databricks, Palantir Foundry, event-driven architectures, API gateways, microservices, cloud-native integration services, or enterprise identity management platforms.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, cybersecurity principles, secure software development, and enterprise data governance.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Ability to work on-site in support of USTRANSCOM mission requirements with minimal exceptions and obtain additional certifications as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Combatant Command, transportation, logistics, or other federal mission environments.
- Experience with enterprise integration technologies such as API management platforms, service-oriented architectures (SOA), event-driven architectures, or enterprise messaging solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms and services, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or equivalent enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, master data management, or enterprise data management initiatives.
- Familiarity with DoDAF, enterprise architecture frameworks, or large-scale data and systems architecture principles.
- Relevant technical certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate, Security+, CISSP, TOGAF, Databricks, or similar industry certifications.

Pay Range: $88,500 - $110,000 per year
