ED BUSINESS ASSOCIATE - FULL-TIME EVENING SHIFT (25190)

The ED Business Associate is responsible for performing administration and clerical duties including but not limited to Patient Admission and Registration. Collaborates and corresponds with other departments for various patient needs. Maintains adherence to EMTALA, HIPAA and other regulatory standards for the Emergency Department. Verifies and collects payments applicable for services. Ensures that all patients who may qualify for financial assistance complete appropriate documentation. Is well spoken, detail oriented and understands the importance of representing empathy, compassion and adheres to the Medical Center’s Code of Ethics at all times.
