Job Description

Summary

Train employees in proper techniques for the mold maintenance process, know equipment setup and safety measures.

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must possess exceptional knowledge of the mold maintenance process.
  • Ensure all employees are trained in the proper application techniques and maintenance / set up with the ability to communicate these objectives effectively.
  • Must possess above average interpersonal skills due to the nature of this position.
  • Will be required to perform the various department jobs as needed.
  • All duties must be performed in accordance with Cobalt’s safety policies and procedures.
  • May be requested to assume leadership functions in absence of supervisor.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

Ability to motivate others to meet demands established by the schedule; must be very detail oriented; general knowledge of operating power tools and hand tools safely; must be able to read and execute build instruction from work orders; work well with others; must be physically fit as job requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and squatting; must be able to successfully complete drug/alcohol screening

 

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and must be able to communicate these objectives effectively. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
