The Sales Development Specialist drives GE HealthCare’s business growth by leading both inbound lead qualification and targeted outbound campaigns. This role focuses on engaging high-potential prospects, applying structured qualification to identify opportunities, and partnering closely with field and virtual sales teams to accelerate pipeline creation. Success requires strong communication, disciplined prioritization, and the ability to orchestrate multi-channel engagement strategies that convert interest into qualified demand.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead qualification of inbound demand by engaging prospects, identifying needs, and assessing sales readiness across multiple channels
  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns aligned to priority segments using coordinated email, phone, and digital outreach
  • Ensure high-quality handoff of qualified opportunities by capturing and documenting critical prospect insights
  • Oversee accurate tracking of lead activity, engagement, and progression within CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Drive timely follow-up on marketing-generated leads in line with qualification standards and service level expectations
  • Provide structured feedback to sales and marketing on campaign effectiveness, buyer pain points, and market dynamics
  • Deliver against defined performance metrics including qualification volume, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution
  • Maintain strong knowledge of GE HealthCare offerings, competitive landscape, and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Early career experience in sales development, lead generation, or customer engagement, ideally within healthcare or a related industry
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across phone, email, and digital channels
  • Experience working with platforms like Salesforce, Gong and Genesys
  • Self-directed with the ability to prioritize, execute, and collaborate in a performance-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting healthcare or medical technology sales organizations
  • Exposure to both inbound and outbound prospecting models
  • Familiarity with sales enablement and automation tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, metrics-driven setting

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $53,840.00-$80,760.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
