Job Title: Operational Excellence Manager

Location: Gray, LA (open to candidates outside of this location)
Primary objective is to drive continuous improvement, standardization, and scalable growth across our customers’ organizations. The role focuses on enterprise-wide transformation, developing systems, people and culture that improves safety, service efficiency, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Identify and drive process improvement opportunities using data analysis, lean methods, and continuous improvement (CI) tools.
- Lead improvement initiatives (CIP, Lean, 5S, CAPA) to enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and service.
- Develop process maps, define requirements, and design solutions (process and technology) to achieve business goals.
- Establish and track KPIs/metrics; analyze data and report performance against targets.
- Manage projects end-to-end, including planning, resource allocation, timelines, and status reporting.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders; support strong client relationships and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and deliver training on lean methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Standardize and share best practices, tools, and key learnings across the organization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in operational excellence, including frameworks, methodologies, and tool selection.
- Support technology integration and provide technical guidance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and stay current on industry trends and leading practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, including building and managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and field teams.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, KPIs, cost analysis, labor standards, procurement, and statistical process control.
- Experience with data analysis, diagnostic tools, and driving insights to support operational decisions.
- Proven record of accomplishment in operational improvement, change management, and leading initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and profitability.
- Experience planning and executing capital or process improvement projects related to material handling, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a results-driven and detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and promote a continuous improvement culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Power BI) and familiarity with ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, CribMaster, EPLUS).
- Pass a Functional Assessment verifying their ability to kneel, squat, lift and carry 50lbs, climb ladders, etc.
