Business Development Manager - UPVC and Aluminium Door and Window Hardware

Job Description

  • Conduct thorough market research to understand the products and demand of uPVC and Aluminium hardware solutions in India
  • Identifying Customer needs, Competition mapping and product bench marking
  • Understand the offering of ASSA ABLOY from across world
  • Identify USP’s of our products over competition
  • Define long team and short term goals and objectives for the segment
  • Develop a comprehensive business development strategy for the Indian market
  • Identify potential clients and develop strategies to acquire new business
  • Build a Strong pipeline of projects in the Fenestration sector by reaching out to Project owners, builders, architects, Façade Consultants, and Façade Fabricators.
  • Work Closely with Large Façade Fabricators and uPVC and Aluminium Door & Window OEM’s
  • Build relationships with end customers like Developers, Architects etc, ensure timely follow up and review the projects pipeline.
  • Should able to proactively react to market trends for next 3 years and identify the future products needs of Indian Market.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to ensure that the product offering is aligned with the needs of the market and also identify further opportunities for product development and innovation
  • Focus on the conversion of quotations to Purchase Order and finally winning the project.
  • Prepare and present various business reports such as Sales forecast for the segment on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis, as required
  • Work with the other internal teams such as Supply Chain, Product Management, Marketing and Specifications, to engage customers at various platforms.
