How You’ll Make an Impact

A Business Development Executive in Commercial Banking, you are responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business relationships, expanding existing client portfolios, and delivering commercial banking solutions to businesses and professional clients. The role focuses on loan production, deposit growth, treasury management services, and relationship development while maintaining strong credit quality and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Develops and executes comprehensive market growth strategies that align with the bank's overall business objectives and target customer segments.
  2. Analyzes market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for expanding the bank's presence in the market.
  3. Collaborates with senior management and other departments to define market positioning and develop product offerings that meet the demands of the target market.
  4. Implements targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote the bank’s products and services, driving customer acquisition and retention.
  5. Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to market performance, analyzing results and making data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed.
  6. Coordinates with sales teams to ensure alignment on goals, training, and resources necessary to effectively engage with clients and prospects.
  7. Leads the local market teams, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of employee engagement and productivity.
  8. This position serves as a strategic advisor to clients and collaborates with internal banking partners to provide customized financial solutions that support client growth and the bank’s profitability objectives.
  9. Credit & Financial Analysis (help structure loans, partner with Relationship Managers/underwriting/credit teams to prepare credit memos). Sales & Business Development & Internal Coordination.
  10. Other duties: Perform other duties as assigned by leaders.


Requirements

Required Education: Graduated professional

Possible Degrees: Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Other Education: Undergraduate studies preferred, business and leadership courses 

Required Years of Experience in Position: 8+ Years

Languages: English and Spanish (Preferred)


Technical Knowledge and Skills

  1. Financial Statement Analysis 
  2. Credit Analysis & Risk Assessment 
  3. Loan Structuring Knowledge 
  4. Treasury Management Basics/ Excel & Financial Modeling/ Risk, Compliance and Regulatory Awareness/ Credit Memo & Presentation
