How You’ll Make an Impact
The Senior Risk Analyst plays a critical role in advancing the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Internal Audit support functions by leading complex risk assessments, enhancing risk governance practices, and providing independent, forward-looking risk insights to senior management and the Board of Directors. This role goes beyond execution to include judgment, influence, and ownership of key risk processes that safeguard the Bank’s assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote sustainable financial stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in developing long-term strategies for network expansion, upgrades, and scalability to support business growth.
- Assists in designing and implementing new network setups, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
- Monitors network performance to identify potential issues such as bottlenecks, outages, or security breaches.
- Uses network monitoring tools to track bandwidth usage, latency, and other performance metrics and report findings to management.
- Responds to network-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure quick resolution to minimize downtime.
- Documents changes, upgrades, and maintenance procedures for internal reference and compliance purposes.
- Performs routine maintenance tasks, such as updating firmware, applying security patches, and optimizing network devices.
- Other duties: Perform other duties as assigned by leaders.
Requirements
Required Education: Technical Studies
Possible Degrees: Associate's Degree or equivalent technical certification
Other Education: CompTIA Net+, CompTIA A+, other technical certificates
Required Years of Experience in Position: 2-4 years
Languages: English and Spanish (Preferred)
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, workstations, and network devices
- Assist in the installation and configuration of IT systems and applications
- Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard company data
