What will be your responsibilities?
1.Operations
- Develop, evaluate, and review technical service procedures and standards. Monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and meet timeliness, reliability, and customer satisfaction standards.
- Plan, prioritize, and implement service activities to fulfill maintenance contracts and service-level agreements.
- Estimate the cost, time, and resources required for installations, upgrades, and other technical services. Prepare work orders and monitor progress against estimates.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend new equipment and tools to enhance the capabilities of the technical service team.
- Select, manage, evaluate, coach, and develop a team of service engineers and technicians to ensure installations are completed on time, within budget, and according to customer requirements.
- Ensure the adequate use of all ERP tools to track activities.
- Provide detailed and adequate activity reports to all involved parties (OEM, customer, and/or BIA).
2. Safety:
- Self-Training – Continuously increase technical knowledge and expertise through self-study and the various training courses/programs provided by the company or OEMs.
- Self-Development – Strive for a high level of performance in technical product knowledge, troubleshooting, fault finding, and equipment application.
- Represent BIA’s values in the field.
3. HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment):
- Ensure HSE standards and procedures are properly complied with by the teams at each stage of the activities.
- Promote the identification of hazards in work areas.
- Conduct a safety briefing with the teams before starting tasks.
- Ensure all employees wear PPE suitable for their tasks and in good condition.
- Define the HSE training needs for the team.
- Ensure a risk analysis (e.g:Take5, JHA) is conducted before each activity and in each work area the employee is responsible for.
- Ensure necessary controls are in place and enforced, and take corrective action immediately if they are not.
- Attend compulsory HSE events or those requested by HSE Management.
- Occasionally perform weekly inspections upon request by HSE Management.
- Train staff involved in an activity on the corresponding standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all staff involved in an activity have been trained on the corresponding SOPs.
- Stop work, exercise the right to withdraw, and interrupt any activity in the event of serious and imminent danger.
